The SUNY Potsdam-AIBR Internship in Conference Organization offers SUNY Potsdam students an opportunity to travel to Salamanca, Spain, to serve as volunteers in an overseas scientific conference. Students can get internship credit and hands-on experience in an international nonprofit organization (Network of Iberoamerican Anthropologists). It is also a great opportunity to create networks related to their professional fields and interact with students from other countries. During the semester, student interns will work with databases, email merge, social network, organizational meetings, and other marketing tools. The internship covers all the expenses related to the international trip to declared Spanish majors at SUNY Potsdam. Minor or double majors with Spanish in the areas of Anthropology, Business, Photography, or Computer Science are encouraged to apply. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required as well as strong written communication skills in English and strong reading skills in Spanish.
