My project explores the effect of climate-change catastrophes on countries in the Caribbean region. Using ArcPro GIS software, I created data-informed maps for twenty-nine-years-worth of environmental events, focusing primarily on sum-total deaths and the frequency of environmental catastrophes. My study demonstrates that Cuba, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic have been the most adversely affected countries in the region. Follow-on research might explore the causes of these disasters and the impact played by climate change and other external factors in the Caribbean.
