Transform the Dorms: Improving Sustainability in the SUNY Potsdam Residence Halls (2020)

This senior research project addresses current improvident (in other words, “unsustainable”) practices relating to electrical and water use, as well as physical waste, in the SUNY Potsdam residence halls. I sought to understand the problems’ roots, and to ascertain and offer solutions that could be used to promote sustainability in SUNY Potsdam’s dorms. The hope is that these ideas will be considered seriously and adopted when college finances allow their implementation.
